One-Pot Meal Recipes
One-pot meal recipes are quick dinners that involve only one pot (or skillet, sheet pan, casserole dish—sometimes even just a piece of foil or parchment paper), so cleanup is a cinch. These easy meals usually involve:
- a protein: for example, chicken thighs, pork tenderloin, sausage, etc.
- Either a:
- starch: for example, rice or pasta, OR
- vegetable: for example, zoodles (zucchini or other vegetable noodles), shredded cabbage, or roasted veggies.
These one-pot dinners are very easy to make. Most can be completed in under an hour (~45 minutes for dishes with rice; ~25 minutes for dishes with pasta). You can make them even faster if you meal-prep some of the ingredients!
For serving these one-pot meal recipes, I often use the very pan I cooked them in. This makes for an impressive presentation at the table.
